This semester the business library book display theme is Sustainable Business. The display is located by the entrance of the business library. If you are unable to stop by in person, you can view the display online. All of the books are available for check out. New materials will be added during the semester.

The database: ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global (PQDT Global)
ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global is the world’s most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses from around the world, spanning from 1743 to the present day and offering full text for graduate works added since 1997, along with selected full text for works written prior to 1997. It contains a significant amount of new international dissertations and theses both in citations and in full text.

The business library has recently acquired two databases:
Mergent Historical Annual Reports (available in Mergent Archives)
This collection starts in the early 1900’s and contains over just over 1,000,000 global annual reports.
Mergent Intellect
Intellect provides Hoovers private company data on over 100 million privately held companies globally (plus 145 million inactive global companies) and allows you the ability to download the data to a spreadsheet – up to 2,000 records at a time. This service also contains information on over 220 million individuals through WhitePages Pro and executive contacts on over 90 million professional decision makers. Also included is global family tree information. Note: The Business library has arranged to trial this database for year
The Business Library will serve free coffee 9:00 am-6:00 pm, Monday-Friday of exam week, December 14-18. In addition, check out events at the Hardin Library. Main Library will be posting finals’ activities as well.

Annual reports (1844-current) available for over 800 companies, 43,000 reports, 1.3M pages. Searchable puff images with indexed data such as: financial, Fortune 500 ranking, industry classification, key people, geographic location, auditor and related companies. It can also be browsed by company name, related names, industry or date..

The database: Political Risk Yearbook

Political Risk Yearbook includes all 100 of Political Risk Services‘ Country Reports. Published annually in January, every report in the Yearbook is updated each year to include the latest report for each country, as of December of the previous year. This set includes eight regional volumes, covering countries around the world.

For over 95 years, RMA’s Annual Statement Studies® has been the industry standard for comparison financial data. Material contained in today’s Annual Statement Studies was first published in the March 1919 issue of the Federal Reserve Bulletin. In the days before computers, the Annual Statement Studies data was recorded in pencil on yellow ledger paper! Today, it features data for over 778 industries.
