New PubMed | 10-min video introduction to changes by Iowa librarian

Posted on June 1, 2020June 22, 2020 by Sarah Andrews

Last week, the new interface of PubMed became the default and now the UI Link button displays in this version. Although the changes to how PubMed works are not substantial, the functionality is improved for those who access through a mobile device.

In addition, there have been features added to improve the user friendliness of this resource: cite tool to help format references in common citation styles, improved page navigation, and permalinks to records to facilitate sharing or saving.

To learn more about the changes, please view this 10-minute video created by Jennifer Deberg, User Services Librarian at Hardin Library.

To learn even more, attend one of our online/Zoom sessions coming up this summer!  Sign up
