The Biz Hub library information desk will be open the following hours this semester:
Monday—Friday 8:00 am—5:00 pm
Saturday Closed
Sunday 1:00—5:00 pm
In addition to our service desk hours, the business library team will be available online and ready to provide assistance. For complex research questions, Willow Fuchs and Kim Bloedel are happy to meet via Zoom or Teams. You can also check our YouTube channel which offers quick tutorials on how to find articles, company information, industry information, and international business information.
Masks are required in the Biz Hub and the 4th floor quiet zone.

Staff Profile: Willow Fuchs, Business Reference and Instruction Librarian
A little about yourself.
I go into a lot of different classes to help students understand what information and resources are available to them through the library.
How long have you been working at the Biz Hub?
I have been working here at the Library since 2014.
What’s your favorite food?
I love Mexican food in all forms – La Regia and El Banditos are probably my faves locally.
How do you spend your time off?
I have a busy life away from work, with two little boys at home that keep me very busy. I also like to run for exercise when I can.
Which aspect of the Biz Hub do you think U Iowa business students should most take advantage of?
In my biased opinion, you should take advantage of the people that are here to help you. Please come see me if you need research help!
Any book recommendations?
I mostly read Children’s books at home, with my small ones.

Where to find it: You can find it here, and under V in the databases A-Z list.
Use it to find:
- Internship information
- Company info, rankings and reviews – includes info such as: geographic reach, operations, sales and marketing, financial performance, strategy, competitors, and company news
- Information on Industries and Professions. Industry info includes: overview of the industry, background, structure, outlook, and resources and associations.
- Resume, Interviewing, Cover letter, Networking tips and advice
Tips for searching:
- Use the search bar on the top right
- Select Companies at the top to see a list of companies by industry or search for a specif company
- Select Internships at the top to search for internships and see lists of internships
- Select Schools at the top to see rankings of Undergraduate, Business Schools or Law Schools, or to search for a specific school.
