SEC Releases a New Search Engine

The SEC has released IDEA, a more user friendly search portal. IDEA stands for Interactive Data Electronic Applications and will eventually replace the EDGAR database. IDEA offers faster retrieval of public company and mutual fund information. In addition, some information can be imported into spreadsheets for analysis.  Click here to search IDEA.

New Database: IBISWorld

The UI Libraries have purchased a subscription to IBISWorld.  This online database offers access to over 700 US industry market research reports.  The report topics range from car washes to management consultants.  IBISWorld also includes US public company profiles.
