IPA Source – Trial ends 14 October 2015

IPA Source was developed to benefit singers, teachers, and all those interested in the correct and knowledgeable performance of vocal literature. The goal of IPA Source is to promote the comprehension and accurate pronunciation of foreign language texts in art song and opera in order that the singer may imbue each syllable with the appropriate emotional content.

Kizuko II Visual for Libraries – Trial ends 30 Oct 2015

Kikuzo II Visual, an online commercial database of the Asahi Shimbun, was widely refurbished in April 2010. By adding image data of the pages printed during the Meiji, the Taisho and the early Showa periods, it became one of the largest newspaper databases of Japan, and presently contains more than 13 million items of the articles and the advertisements of the paper since its first issue in 1879. Full-text searching is available for post-1985 articles.

This trial can accommodate two (2) simultaneous users.

Cabell’s – Trial ends 12 August 2015

Cabell’s is an interactive, searchable database which covers 18 distinct academic disciplines and contains information about more than 11,000 journals. Through continued partnerships with major academic publishers, journal editors, scholarly societies and accreditation agencies, they provide accurate, up-to-date details about academic journals to more than 750 universities world-wide.

China Data Online – Trial ends 17 June 2015

China Data Online includes China Statistical Databases, China Census Databases, and China Spatial Data Service (China Geo-Explorer). It provides easy access to the various statistical yearbooks published by the National Bureau of Statistics of China, comprehensive statistics, and Census data of economy and population at national, provincial, city, county, and even township levels.

The CNKI China Statistical Yearbooks Database (CSYD) is a unique digital repository of statistical and census data published officially by the mainland Chinese government. The database includes:
