CLCD STEMExplore – Trial ended 29 May 2020

 CLCD STEMExplore PreK-12 database contains the largest collection of STEM-based PreK-12 fiction and nonfiction children’s and young adult books and media titles available today. It uses distinct STEM qualifiers that resulted in over 400,000 unique titles. CLCD’s new search Topic/Sub-Topic plus age, grade, or reading level qualifiers is ideal for finding the best STEM books for Project Based Learning and Literacy Reading Programs.

UN Comtrade database – Trial expired 4 April 2020

The UN Comtrade database is the largest depository of international trade data. It contains well over 3 billion data records since 1962 and is available publicly on the internet. In addition, it offers public and premium data API for easier integration/download.

Screen Studies, BFI Film Classics, and BFI Film Studies – Trial ended 31 March 2020

Screen Studies is a dynamic digital platform taking users from script to screen and beyond – offering a broad range of content from Bloomsbury, Faber & Faber and the British Film Institute to support moving-image studies. The primary collection currently comprises 318 critical, contextual, and practical eBooks, 69 Screenplays, and 20 original overview articles. Also available on the platform, BFI Film Studies brings together a rich body of titles from British Film Institute Publishing’s pre-eminent and foundational list of books on film history, theory, national cinemas, genres, filmmakers, and stars. The BFI Film Classics collection consists of titles from the award-winning BFI Film Classics book series which introduces, interprets and celebrates landmarks of world cinema from the silent era to the 21st century.

Royal Geographical Society (RGS) – Trial ended 17 March 2020

The Royal Geographical Society (RGS) Archive includes Maps, Atlases, Charts and Plans; Expedition Reports; Fieldnotes, Correspondence and Diaries; Grey Literature; Photographs, Artwork and Illustrations; Journal Manuscripts; Photographs; Proceedings, Lectures, and Ephemera. The collection spans a wide variety of interdisciplinary research areas, and supports educational needs in Anthropology, Area Studies; Cartography and Visualizations, Colonial, Post-Colonial & Decolonisation Studies; Development Studies; Environmental Degradation; Historical & Cultural Geography; Historical Sociology; Human Geography; Identity, Gender & Ethnic Studies; Geology; International Relations; Trade and Commerce, and Law and Policy relating to Colonization. The earliest printed cartographic item dates back to 1485, and recent items are also included in the Archive.

For the duration of this trial, RGS will appear along with Iowa’s two other Wiley Digital Archives (Royal Anthropological Institute and The New York Academy of Sciences).
