It&#8217;s launching a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/open\/researchaccess\" target=\"_blank\">research portal<\/a> to provide free public access to the data and publications resulting from NASA-funded research. The portal points to two new services.<\/p>\n<p>The first, called &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/data.nasa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">NASA&#8217;s Data Portal<\/a>&#8221; is a catalog of publicly available datasets, APIs, and visualizations. You can use it to explore by category, or search to find a specific dataset.<\/p>\n<p>The second service, called &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/open\/researchaccess\/pubspace\" target=\"_blank\">PubSpace<\/a>&#8220;, will provide free public access\u00a0to peer-reviewed journal articles and other\u00a0publications resulting from NASA-funded research. It is an extension of PubMed Central (PMC), which is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and operated by the National Library of Medicine (NLM).
