She worked in the \u201cconcrete\u201d style: many of her poems are shaped as flowers and plants. Unfortunately Solt\u2019s poems are now largely forgotten. There are no editions of her work in print, and her writing attracts little scholarly attention. This digital archive will collect and sort the stories, essays, poems, and editorials from the magazine\u2019s five-year run use by the public, students, and specialists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samuel Boucher, PhD Student, History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/studio\/files\/2023\/05\/Sam-IMG_6370-square.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7374\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/studio\/files\/2023\/05\/Sam-IMG_6370-square-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"218\" height=\"218\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/studio\/files\/2023\/05\/Sam-IMG_6370-square-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/studio\/files\/2023\/05\/Sam-IMG_6370-square-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/studio\/files\/2023\/05\/Sam-IMG_6370-square.jpg 384w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 218px) 100vw, 218px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Samuel plans to spend time this summer creating a map of Mennonite colonies across the world. Through experimentation and practical application, Stevie will explore projection mapping as a fractured light source while utilizing varying materials and films to act as screens and as refractive surfaces. Currently she is working on a project that is exploring how people make every day moral judgments on a subreddit called &#8220;Am I the Asshole&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Greg Wickenkamp, PhD Student, History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/studio\/files\/2023\/05\/Wickenkamp-Gregory-cropped.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7365\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/studio\/files\/2023\/05\/Wickenkamp-Gregory-cropped.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"165\" height=\"220\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Greg will adapt L. M. Bogad&#8217;s <em>Cointelshow: A Patriot Act<\/em>, a play about the FBI&#8217;s COINTELPRO. His adaptation will include more focus on Iowa, surveillance capitalism, and the de facto continuation of COINTELPRO repression efforts past the program&#8217;s official end in 1971.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>PJ Zaborowski, PhD Student, English<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PJ plans to spend his time this summer creating a digital component to his dissertation.
