Eric Rumsey is a librarian and web developer at the Hardin Library for the Health Sciences, University of Iowa. He is the founder and manager of the Hardin MD site.

Hardin MD has evolved from its original role as a directory of medical websites, to providing links to medical pictures on other sites, to its most recent role of hosting medical images on the Hardin MD site.
