Partnering for Patient Empowerment through Community Awareness Event in Keosauqua on September 23

The free Partnering for Patient Empowerment through Community Awareness (PPECA) train-the-trainer sessions are winning rave reviews in Iowa! Our attendees have said:

[The session provided] “Good solid programming planning guidelines & advice.”

“Thank you for facilitating this initiative.  It came at an opportune time as we are beginning to partner with our local hospital.  It also raised lots of ideas for other partnerships with other health professionals.  We will be brainstorming all the way home!”

We want to encourage you to think about attending the final PPECA train-the-trainer session in your area. Its a great opportunity to get CE credits and learn about multidisciplinary partnership, community education and patient safety — for librarians in any sector.

The session (rescheduled due to the June floods) will be held:

Tuesday Sept 23 @ Van Buren County Hospital, Keosauqua, IA 11:30 am – 3:00 pm

[light lunch and networking time provided prior to the actual session start at noon).
