The UI Libraries migrated to a new library catalog in July. \u00a0This change means you need to change your EndNote settings in order to find full-text articles. Below are instructions on how to make the changes on a PC. For more instructions on using EndNote, visit the website (EndNote Desktop tip sheet for PCs<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0EndNote Desktop tip sheet for Macs<\/a>) or contact your librarian<\/a>. Full text availability is limited to journals the UI Libraries subscribe to electronically\u00a0which have full text available.<\/p>\n

Set up EndNote to Find Full-Text<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. From the\u00a0Edit\u00a0<\/strong>menu, select\u00a0Preferences<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Click on\u00a0Find Full Text<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. In the Open URL Path<\/strong> box, enter http:\/\/uilink.lib.uiowa.edu\/view\/uresolver\/01IOWA_INST\/openurl<\/li>\n
  4. If you are using EndNote from off-campus, you will need to enter https:\/\/proxy.lib.uiowa.edu\/login beside the box labeled Authentication URL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
