Dr. Last week Dr. David Sackett, considered by many to be the father of evidenced-based medicine, passed away. He founded the first department of clinical epidemiology and biostatistics in the world at McMaster University, Ontario in 1967 and established the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine in the UK in 1994.<\/p>\n
