Morris Jr. photo album cover, 1937-1941<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>James Morris was the son of James Morris, Sr., a long-time publisher of the\u00a0<em>Iowa State Bystander<\/em>, an African-American newspaper. \u00a0James Morris Jr. married <a href=\"http:\/\/collguides.lib.uiowa.edu\/?IWA0276\" >Arlene J.
