When all supplemental content is included, this number increases to 1,558,358!<\/p>\n<p>While most use came from the United States, 15% of the use came from other places, including the United Kingdom, India, Canada, Germany and Australia, and 187 other countries.<\/p>\n<p>Our theses and dissertations are downloaded more than anything else in IRO. All together, they total close to 60% of the total downloads!<\/p>\n<p>Almost one third of the total downloads come from our books, journals and magazines. <a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/wwqr\"><em>Walt Whitman Quarterly Review<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/mff\"><em>Medieval Feminist Forum<\/em><\/a> receive the most use.<\/p>\n<p>Our highest use items are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/polisci_nmp\/135\">Twitter Data Stream: Obama McChrystal<\/a> &#8211; 16,632 downloads<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/etd\/2681\">Nurse manager competencies<\/a> &#8211; 12,253 downloads<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/etd\/1042\">Design of wind turbine tower and foundation systems: optimization approach<\/a> &#8211; 10.171 downloads<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/etd\/2501\">Chemical, physical and mechanical properties of nanomaterials and its applications<\/a> &#8211; 7,586 downloads<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/etd\/3255\">Three essays on the customer satisfaction-customer loyalty association<\/a> &#8211; 7,375 downloads<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Congratulations to all the authors and journal editors!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iowa Research Online had an impressive 1,506,333 items downloaded in 2014.
