This means that scholarship created by University of Iowa faculty, researchers and students is being read around the world. We crossed the three\u00a0million mark in late January 2014; it is so\u00a0very exciting to have had such an increase in just over nine\u00a0months that we are dancing in our cubicles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/digital.lib.uiowa.edu\/cdm\/ref\/collection\/aawiowa\/id\/747\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4219\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/studio\/files\/2014\/11\/Dancers_at_a_party_at_Esther_Walls_apartment_New_York_NY_1960s.jpg\" alt=\"ancers at a party at Esther Walls' apartment, New York, N.Y., 1960s\" width=\"640\" height=\"454\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/studio\/files\/2014\/11\/Dancers_at_a_party_at_Esther_Walls_apartment_New_York_NY_1960s.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our <a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/etd\/\">theses and dissertation<\/a> make up over half the use, which is great evidence of the fantastic scholarship done by our graduates. The journals\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/wwqr\/\"><em>Walt Whitman Quarterly Review<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/ir.uiowa.edu\/mff\/\"><em>Medieval Feminist Forum<\/em><\/a> each have had two-three\u00a0hundred thousand downloads.
