{"id":3266,"date":"2014-10-09T18:56:58","date_gmt":"2014-10-09T18:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/hardin\/?p=5540"},"modified":"2014-10-09T18:56:58","modified_gmt":"2014-10-09T18:56:58","slug":"cambus-changes-and-street-closures-friday-october-10-due-to-ui-homecoming-parade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/combo\/2014\/10\/09\/cambus-changes-and-street-closures-friday-october-10-due-to-ui-homecoming-parade\/","title":{"rendered":"Cambus changes and street closures Friday, October 10 due to UI Homecoming Parade"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_5541\" style=\"width: 178px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5541 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.lib.uiowa.edu\/hardin\/files\/2014\/10\/2014-corn-monument-168x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"168\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">2014 Iowa Corn Monument<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Cambus<\/strong> will be re-routing\u00a0East routes\u00a0on Friday afternoon-early evening because of street closures caused by the University of Iowa Homecoming parade.\u00a0 All routes will run, but the busses may be off schedule due to the re-routing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Iowa City Transit will make the following changes on Friday:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The bus interchange will move from Washington and Clinton streets beginning at 6 a.m. until Saturday.<\/li>\n<li>The last Northside Shuttle of the day will depart the alternate interchange on Court Street at 2:45 p.m. The Northside Shuttle will follow its normal route.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The last Southside Shuttle will depart the alternate interchange on Court Street at 3:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>After the Homecoming Parade on Friday, the Night Manville Heights and Night North Dodge bus routes will continue to detour due to the closure of Clinton Street between Jefferson Street and Washington Street for the UI Homecoming Pep Rally.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>The outbound bus stops located at the intersections of Clinton and Jefferson and at Jefferson and Linn, and the inbound bus stops located at the intersections of Market and Linn and Clinton and Jefferson, will be out of service during the UI Homecoming events.
