A multidisciplinary database covers over 12,000 of the highest impact journals worldwide, including Open Access journals and over 150,000 conference proceedings.\u00a0 You\u2019ll find current and retrospective coverage to 1898 \u00a0in the sciences, engineering, social sciences, arts, and humanities. \u00a0Taught by Sara Scheib (Science Education and Outreach Library, Science Library)<\/p>\n<p><b>February 12<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.lib.uiowa.edu\/login?url=https:\/\/scifinder.cas.org\/scifinder\/\">Scifinder<\/a>:\u00a0 One Stop Shop for Chemistry Information (30 minutes)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Overview of Scifinder. \u00a0SciFinder gives you instant access to the world\u2019s largest curated collection of information on chemistry and related research produced by Chemical Abstract Service \u2013 a division of the American Chemical Society. Taught by Sara Schieb (Sciences Education and Outreach Librarian, Sciences Library)<\/p>\n<p><b>February 19<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/purl.lib.uiowa.edu\/ei\/village\"> Compendex<\/a>:\u00a0 Everything Engineering<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Overview of Compendex. \u00a0The most comprehensive bibliographic database of scientific and technical engineering research available, covering all engineering disciplines. It includes millions of bibliographic citations and abstracts from thousands of engineering journals and conference proceedings.
