Hi Kristi and Greg,

Hope all is well as you prepare for the 2010 Festival.

I’m the coauthor of “The Last Lecture” with Randy Pausch, “Highest Duty” with Capt. Sully Sullenberger, and I’m also the author of “The Girls from Ames” -- a book about a lifelong friendship of 11 women in Ames, Iowa. All three books were NYT bestsellers in 2009, and two of them will be out in paperback in 2010. Here’s a link to my bio for details:

http://www.girlsfromames.com/the-author/

I’d be happy to consider coming to this year’s festival to speak about my recent books, especially the Ames book, if that is of interest to you. My presentations are very moving and entertaining, and include short, powerful video clips related to the books. My contact info is below. Feel free to get in touch if you have questions, and the books’ publicists can send you copies if you need them.

In any case, good luck with all the planning!

Best wishes,

Jeff Zaslow
