This week, October 6-12, is National Physician Assistants Week.  Last year, Rep. Karen Bass recognized PAs during a short statement to the House of Representatives.   This year, a group of PA’s and students will be heading to Rockefeller Plaza to appear on the Today Show.

You can learn more about PA’s and what they do from the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). You might also be interested in learning more about the history of this profession which has been around since the mid-60’s. The PA program here at the University of Iowa is well known as top ranking program in the nation.
