More public access to research results \u2013 including data \u2013 is\u00a0one of those requirements. Love Your Data week will help\u00a0researchers, libraries, and students look at how to be responsible stewards of their work. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif;color: #333333\">The LYD website provides tips and tricks for managing research data, resources to help with data management, and daily activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to the LYD website, <em>&#8220;Loving your data means investing in it, taking care of it for the future. Over the five day event, we will guide you through five activities to help get your data organized, secure, and ready for write-up, sharing and reuse.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Each day of\u00a0LYD week has a different theme:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday, Feb. 8: \u201cData: Keep It Safe\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, Feb. 9: \u201cIt\u2019s the 21st Century \u2014 Do You Know Where Your Data Is?\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday, Feb. 10: \u201cWhat Did I Mean Here?\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Thursday, Feb. 11: \u201cGive\/Get Credit for Data\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Friday, Feb. 12: \u201cThink Big: Transforming, Extending, Reusing Data.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Involvement across social media platforms is encouraged, and\u00a0to be involved in the conversation use #LYD16 for Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
